Help support the university鈥檚 first-annual Pi Day of Giving - March 14

Pi Day is Wednesday, March 14; March 14 = 3.14; 3.14 = π; π = Pi.

Pi is a mathematical constant used to measure a circle’s circumference to its diameter. The value of pi is the same regardless of the size of the circle. On , we’re looking to grow our circle by inviting faculty, staff, alumni, students and community members to take part in a day of giving. Since Pi is a significant number to our science, technology, engineering and math (STEM)-focused university, the university has chosen March 14 as its giving day.

On March 14, tweet what you love about the university and your favourite kind of pie, Instagram your favorite place on campus, and share on Facebook and LinkedIn what the 萌妹社区 means to you. Let’s get #uoitpiday trending.

You can also participate in Pi Day by giving back through an that will directly support scholarships through the Student Success Fund.

No matter which way you slice it, giving feels good. On Pi Day, we have one purpose and infinite possibilities. Let’s show the world what we can do together.
