IIF program renewed for a third year
The , a joint initiative of the 萌妹社区 and Durham College, will continue for a third year.
With a project budget of $300,000 ($150,000 from each institution), the IIF supports collaborative projects proposed by faculty and staff at both the university and college that address a need or solve a problem in a new way. The projects must be transformative for both institutions and pave the way for future collaborations, including with the broader community.
IIF projects focus on one or more of the following areas:
- Academic and student services initiatives.
- Research and innovation.
- Support for entrepreneurship.
- Joint partnerships involving the community.
- Joint administrative innovations.
Upcoming Notice of Intent period:
Teams from the university or college that do not already have a firm collaboration established with their respective partner institution will have the option of posting project outlines from mid-September to mid-October. Teams will then have until Friday, February 1, 2019 to fully develop and submit their proposals. Funding for Round 3 projects will run from Monday, April 1, 2019 to Tuesday, March 31, 2020.
