Important notice from the Office of the Registrar: New tuition payment deadlines for students
The Office of the Registrar continually strives to enhance the student experience.
After reviewing student fee deadlines in conjunction with the Finance department, the Registrar’s office (RO) has decided to move to one payment deadline per semester, for both domestic and international students.
Why the change?
Changes to the Ontario Student Assistance Program (OSAP) have significantly increased students’ eligibility to receive OSAP funding. Beginning in 2018-2019, OSAP funding will automatically redirect funds to pay outstanding tuition.
The RO also reviewed procedures at 19 other Ontario universities and will align with the standard practice of one payment deadline per semester.
What does this mean for students?
Students will not have to pay a first installment of $3,000 (domestic) and $5,000 (international) prior to the start of each semester. Students are responsible for paying their full fees by the tuition payment deadline.
New payment deadlines for Fall/Winter 2018-2019:*
