This week鈥檚 Cinechats selection: In Syria
Each Thursday evening the campus community is invited to enjoy a film screening presented by Cinechats, which is supported in part by the university, Durham College, Arts Forum and the Durham Council for the Arts. Age restrictions apply, as most films are rated for those 18 years of age and older.
This week’s selection, (Belgium/France/Lebanon, 2017), is an award-calibre film that brings the misery of the brutal conflict in Syria down to the human level of a single day in the life of a family under siege. It stars , and .
Showtime is at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, June 14 in the Gordon Willey Building, Room C-113. Admission is $3 per person.
