Call for committee members to help revamp the Staff Awards of Excellence
This past spring, the Human Resources (HR) department asked administrative staff for input on the Staff Awards of Excellence. HR received many ideas and suggestions about how to revamp the awards, and wants to bring some people on board to help make these changes.
In the past, the Staff Award of Excellence was presented to employees in two distinct employment categories: Professional/Managerial and Administrative/Technical. Due to changes to the university’s employment categories, and in response to feedback from the campus community, HR has decided to strike a committee over the next few months to revamp these awards. The new awards will be presented at a future event in 2018-2019.
If you are interested in self-nominating for the committee, fill out and submit the by Friday, August 31.
HR will contact selected committee members in the early fall to confirm participation.
