Pension investment change and upcoming workshops
University pension plan members should note a new investment option, the Phillips, Hager & North (PH&N) Core Plus Bond Segregated Fund, will be available as of Wednesday, September 26.
As of Thursday, October 18, the BlackRock Universe Bond Index Segregated Fund will be discontinued as a defined contribution pension plan investment option.
If you are affected by this fund investment change, you will need to take action and make a decision. If you are not affected by this change, you may wish to consider if the new fund fits into your retirement savings strategy.
In the coming weeks, you will receive an invitation to attend the university’s 2018 Understanding Your Pension Investments Options workshop (Wednesday, October 3) and/or webinar (Thursday, October 4) to learn more about your pension investment options.
