Town hall meeting October 3 to discuss future campus spaces

In June, President Steven Murphy his strong commitment to growing and transforming the university. This commitment involves creating flexible space that supports the university’s teaching and research mission while enhancing student, faculty and staff engagement so our campus is a place where people want to ‘stick’ around.

Over the summer various user groups were consulted and they have reviewed initial plans. The university is now ready to show how the space design relates to the vision we have heard.

On September 26, the university hosted a town hall meeting to gather feedback on the design of the university’s newest building.

The next town hall meeting on Wednesday, October 3 will provide information about future space planning for the downtown Oshawa campus location as we prepare for the Education Building’s lease ending in 2023.
