Horizons of Friendship Guatemalan partner visit – November 23

On Friday, November 23, the university, together with Horizons of Friendship, a charity committed to eliminating the root causes of poverty and injustice in Central America and Mexico, will welcome three Indigenous Maya K’Iche’ and Guatemalan women to campus for an event entitled Maternal, Newborn and Child Health in Totonicapán, Guatemala.

Come learn about Horizons’ work, which supports traditional Indigenous Maya midwives and improves the well-being of thousands of Maya families.
