Brave the Future App Hackathon – February 8 to 10
The university invites students to participate in a 48-hour Brave The Future hackathon Friday, February 8 through Sunday, February 10. Students will work in teams to develop a working prototype of an exciting and interactive app to help the university’s students, donors and the general public learn about the new Brave The Future fundraising campaign.
Students will present their app prototypes in a live five-minute pitch to a panel of judges. The winning team will develop their prototype into a Brave The Future-branded software program that will be used as a promotional item throughout the campaign.
The winning team will receive $5,000 for the app prototype, and another $5,000 once they finalize the Brave The Future app.
