Register your kids for Faculty of Education March Break camps

The Faculty of Education (FEd) has several March Break camps planned for Monday, March 11 through Friday, March 15.

Curious Creators and LEGO Robotics camps

The Curious Creators camp (ages 7 to 11) features hands-on engineering challenges, technology explorations and science experiments. Participants to use simple tools to design and construct a project of your choice.

In the LEGO Robotics camp (ages 9 to 13), participants work with a partner to solve design challenges, construct and build with LEGO® EV3 software.

  • When: Monday, March 11 to Friday, March 15 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. *
  • Where: Education Building, 11 Simcoe Street North, Oshawa, Ontario.

* Supervised extended care (8 to 9 a.m. and 4 to 5 p.m.) is available for an additional fee.

Weather permitting, outside activities will take place during the lunch hour to connect campers with nature. Campers bring their own snack and lunch.

ChangeMakers March Break Camp

The FEd  will host a March Break ChangeMakers camp. Students in grades 4 to 9 will explore emerging technologies, including the Internet of Things, and design and prototype an invention that could improve their lives or the lives of others.

  • When: Monday, March 11 to Friday, March 15 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. (before care from 8 to 9 a.m. and after care from 3 to 4 p.m. available for an extra fee). 
  • Where: STEAM3D Lab, Education Building, 11 Simcoe Street North, Oshawa, Ontario

Lunch is included.
