Celebrate National Volunteer Week – April 7 to 13
The theme for this year’s National Volunteer Week (Sunday, April 7 through Saturday, April 13) is The Volunteer Factor – Lifting Communities. It is a time to reflect on the multitude of actions taken locally to help people, communities and neighbourhoods become better prepared to respond to the unexpected, and better positioned for a more sustainable future.
This year, the Advancement department invites you to celebrate National Volunteer Week by sending an e-card to volunteers within your faculty or department. There will be three different versions to choose from, along with various images and quotes to customize your greeting. Watch for the e-card link in the April 9 Weekly Report.
