Campus Library introduces new OER tools
The Campus Library has introduced a new Open Educational Resources (OER) Toolkit and added 275 open textbooks to its collection.
OERs include openly licensed textbooks, course materials, images, videos, simulations and games that can be used, adapted, remixed and redistributed at no cost and with few restrictions.
Whether you are new to OERs or have used them in your teaching and learning, the Library’s is a great place to find practical information and resources. Use the toolkit to learn more about finding and evaluating the best OERs, creating and adapting OERs for your courses, and applying open teaching practices.
The Library has added from and to its catalogue. You can access textbooks in your preferred online format, see faculty reviews, and identify textbooks that have supplementary resources like slide decks and quizzes.
