Girls Take Flight – April 27
On Saturday, April 27, The Ninety-Nines, an international organization of licensed women pilots, will host , a free aviation event for girls in Oshawa, Ontario.
Girls Take Flight encourages girls to take interest in aviation and aerospace by providing them with information from education specialists. Participants will browse static aircraft and aviation industry displays, and hear from inspiring female speakers who will immerse them in the world of aviation. Two hundred girls will also have a chance to go for a free flight (pre-registration required; opens Monday, April 15).
