This week鈥檚 Cinechats selection: Green Book
Each Thursday evening the campus community is invited to enjoy a film screening presented by Cinechats, which is supported in part by the university, Durham College, Arts Forum and the Durham Council for the Arts. Age restrictions apply, as most films are rated for those 18 years of age and older.
This week’s selection, (USA, 2018), is an irresistible story of two men who become unlikely friends. It stars , and . Directed and co-written by Peter Farrelly, Green Book won Best Film, Supporting Actor, and Original Screenplay at the Academy Awards, where it was also nominated for Best Actor and Editing.
Note: This film is for ages 18+ due to brief coarse language, some racial epithets, and adult subject matter.
Showtime is at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 21 in the Gordon Willey Building, Room C-113. Admission is $3 per person.
