Sign up to volunteer for Convocation
The Registrar's office and Alumni office seek volunteers to assist with this year's Convocation ceremonies on Thursday, June 6 and Friday, June 7 at the Tribute Communities Centre in Oshawa, Ontario.
Four convocation ceremonies are scheduled (two each day) at 9:30 a.m. and 2 p.m.
If you are interested in volunteering, please ensure you have your manager/supervisor’s approval in advance.
Volunteer positions with the Registrar’s office:
- Greeters and ushers (approximately 15 positions per ceremony)
- Full-day shift – arrive between 7:30 and 8 a.m.; shift ends at approximately 4:30 to 5 p.m.
- Morning ceremony shift – arrive between 7:30 and 8 a.m.; shift ends at approximately 12:30 p.m.
- Afternoon ceremony shift – arrive by noon; shift ends at approximately 4:30 to 5 p.m.

Volunteer positions with the Alumni office:
- Alumni Alley Assistant
- 8 to 9 a.m.
- 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
- 3:30 to 6:30 p.m.
