Indigenous Education and Cultural Services staff member receives national award

Carol Ducharme, Indigenous Programming Specialist, Indigenous Education and Cultural Services, received the New and Emerging Professionals Award at the  (CACUSS) annual hosted June 19 in Calgary, Alberta.

CACUSS is a professional association representing and serving individuals who work in student affairs and services at Canadian post-secondary institutions. The CACUSS New and Emerging Professionals Award recognizes leadership, growth and outstanding potential in a professional working in any area of student affairs and services for five years or less. CACUSS recognized Carol for the incredible work she has done during her short time at 萌妹社区; her contributions to the professional development of colleagues through conference presentations and participation; and her growth and development in the CACUSS Student Affairs and Services competency areas.
