CIRENS email testing in August
As part of its commitment to improving the efficiency of communication during emergencies, in August the Office of Campus Safety (OCS) will test emergency messaging by sending a number of emails to faculty and staff institutional email addresses. These messages will help OCS evaluate the capabilities of a number of emergency email delivery systems, and select the best one for the delivery of Campus Incident Response Emergency Notification System (CIRENS) emails.
All test emails will include the subject line: TEST TEST TEST – CIRENS EMAIL.
The email may come from different senders, including but not limited to:
- Blackboard Connect
- CIRENS
- REGROUP
Once you receive the email, no further action or response is required.
