Donate to the annual toiletry drive
As the holiday season approaches, hearts are warmed by giving and receiving. You are invited to donate new and nearly new toiletries for a toiletry drive to support four worthy organizations in our region:
- – shelter for homeless youth.
- – youth outreach centre.
- – emergency shelter for women and children.
- – drop-in centre and soup kitchen.
Sample sizes, hotel sizes and full sizes are welcome as well as new or nearly new items. Some suggestions are shampoo, conditioner, toilet paper, hand soap, body wash, cosmetics, toothbrushes, toothpaste, feminine hygiene products, and health and beauty products.
New or nearly new towels and pyjamas (special need for men’s pyjamas) are also gratefully welcomed.
Donation bins are set up around the Ontario Tech campus:
North Oshawa location:
- All Dean offices
- Office of the President and Office of the Provost, Energy Systems and Nuclear Science Research Centre (ERC)
- The Centre of Institutional Quality Enhancement (CIQE) and Office of Institutional Research and Analysis (OIRA), ERC
- Library circulation desk
- Campus Corners, main lobby
- ACE security desk
- Registrar’s Office, Software and Informatics Research Centre
- Student Life building
Downtown Oshawa location:
- Bordessa Hall, main lobby
- 61 Charles Street, entrance and third floor
