Hockey equipment and winter clothing drive underway
Help share the love of the good old hockey game! The Athletics department and Indigenous Education and Cultural Services have teamed up with the Ajax Rotary Club to collect used hockey equipment donations for residents of northern Ontario (many living in isolated or remote fly-in communities). They’re also collecting gently used winter clothing such as scarves, winter hats, jackets, gloves and mittens to support those in need.
Drop off your donations at the Student Life Building, West Hub, or in the bin near the security desk at the 61 Charles Street Building, now through Friday, November 29.
You can also bring your donations to the women’s hockey game vs. Queen’s on Saturday, November 30 at 3:30 p.m.
