Holiday Food Drive underway
The annual Holiday Food Drive is a long-standing tradition on campus that has helped hundreds of 萌妹社区 and Durham College students and their families enjoy a happier holiday season. It also gives our campus community an opportunity to come together for a great cause. Last year’s campaign assisted more than 100 students and their families.
How can you help?
The success of the drive would not be possible without the kindness of volunteers. Whether you give your time, participate in fundraising activities or donate a non-perishable food item, you can help our students in many ways.
A number of great events will take place throughout November and December, with details posted in Weekly Report or the website as they become available. If you and your colleagues are interested in hosting a fundraiser, we want to help you spread the word. Please contact fooddrive@dc-ot.ca and provide:
- fundraiser overview
- host institution
- name of faculty, school or unit
- date, time and location
- when money will be available for collection
You can also drop off your non-perishable food donations in boxes around campus beginning mid-November.

- Buy a toque, make a difference - through Sunday, December 15
- Make a financial contribution – through Friday, December 13
- Plant sales –through Friday, December 13
- Help pack hampers – Sunday, December 15
