Latest iOS software version update causing issues with corporate email

Over the last few weeks, Information Technology Services has received a number of reports from faculty and staff with university-issued iPhones who have experienced errors while accessing their corporate email.

Problems include:

  • Messages not showing sender information.
  • Incorrect download counts.
  • Missing subject lines.
  • Meeting invites not opening.

After further investigation, these issues appear to be related to the most recent iOS (Apple operating system) software version update. Apple has begun releasing patches (fixes) to address this these issues.

Version 13.3 (expected to arrive in the coming weeks) will close off the remaining issues.

If you have not done so already, please upgrade to iOS 13.2.2 (the current stable iOS version), and upgrade to 13.3 when it becomes available in the coming weeks. Once you upgrade to 13.3, that should resolve all remaining issues.
