Upcoming changes to postering on campus

Ontario Tech’s new will take effect Wednesday, January 1.

The university is committed to promoting a culture of sustainability and reducing its collective impact on the environment, while maintaining and improving the overall physical appearance of the campus. New bulletin boards are being installed on the first floor of each university building. Faculty, staff, students, student organizations, campus departments and other university organizations can post information on these boards to promote approved activities, events and services.

Postering by student organizations, including clubs, societies and other student-led groups, must also adhere to the Student Union's rules and procedures for postering. Approved posters must include the Ontario Tech Student Union poster-approval sticker.

The university will remove messages and advertisements that do not adhere to the university’s postering procedures.
