Student Experience Record allows students to add co-curricular experience to LinkedIn
The Ontario Tech (SER) is a comprehensive record of a student’s involvement in co-curricular experiences throughout their Ridgeback journey. It's used to highlight diverse university experiences, and showcase a student’s personal involvement and commitment to growing outside of the classroom.
SER can be added to their resumé, and be a supplemental piece that highlights skills that are easily transferable to the professional industry.
As students apply for jobs, future education or volunteer experiences, SER will be a great tool to showcase soft skills that are important to employers in today's market.
This year, students will be able to automatically add their SER experiences to LinkedIn, becoming easily identifiable by employers with one click of a button. Watch the Weekly Update for more information.
The deadline to add positions to SER is Monday, May 1.
