Building a successful composting program on campus event

Join the Faculty of Social Science and Humanities (FSSH) for an online event to learn how to start a successful composting program on campus.

Dr. Keroles B. Riad will discuss the  student composting initiative he started at Concordia University in 2016 which, to date, has resulted in the Concordia community doubling its annual composting, with each Concordian reducing their annual overall waste by 16 per cent. This initiative resulted in his spin-off company, .

Enuf is on a mission to do whatever it takes to fix the waste crisis. They offer green brigades to help event participants learn how to sort waste, conduct waste audits, compost organic waste at a rate that is cheaper than landfills, and redirect surplus food to community fridges they are setting up on student campuses.

When: Friday, March 31, noon to 1 p.m.
