Centre for Institutional Quality Enhancement staffing updates

As one of the units within the Planning Office under the Associate Vice-President, Planning and Strategic Analysis, the (CIQE) is responsible for supporting quality enhancement and continuous program improvement in academic program offerings at the university. As part of its work, the CIQE team supports academic program reviews, academic curriculum changes and ensures alignment between internal program requirements and those of Quality Council and the Ministry of Colleges and Universities.

Over the past several months, the CIQE has undergone a significant number of staffing changes that we want to update the community on:

  • Dana Reeson, Director of the Office of Institutional Research and Analysis has assumed the duties of Interim CIQE Director, in addition to her current role, for the next four to six months. Sylvia Lin left the CIQE Director position earlier in the year to assume a new role at another university located closer to family.
  • Darryl Papke is CIQE’s new Curriculum and Pathways Analyst, previously held by Kimberley McCartney who became Assistant University Secretary within the Office of the President last fall.
  • Shelly Windsor is on secondment to backfill the Curriculum Systems Analyst position until Michelle Heslip’s return from leave later this spring. Shelly comes to CIQE from the Academic Advising Office.
  • Becky Tranter continues as the Quality Enhancement Analyst position within the office.

Congratulations to Dana, Darryl and Shelly on their new roles. Throughout these changes, the staff members of CIQE have remained steadfast in their commitment to provide uninterrupted service to faculties and units.

Community members are encouraged to contact CIQE staff directly for their program innovation and review needs.
