Free community skate at Tribute Communities Centre presented by Ontario Tech
Ontario Tech is hosting a free community skate at the Tribute Communities Centre on Sunday, March 12 from 4 to 5 p.m. on Rink 2 (entrance on Bruce Street).
Bring your family and friends and take a spin around the ice with Ontario Tech varsity athletes, our mascot, Hunter the Ridgeback, along with Deke, the Oshawa Generals’ mascot.
IMPORTANT: Bring your own ice skates. No skate rental will be available. Parents and guardians must supervise children at all times. Helmets are required for all skaters under the age of 12 and is strongly encouraged for all other skaters. Regular leisure skating rules will apply.
Join us afterwards for an Oshawa Generals game. A limited number of tickets are available to our campus community for the game on March 12 at 6 p.m. vs. the Flint Firebirds. Tickets are on a first-come, first-served basis. To request tickets, please contact Jodi Cowan, Community Engagement Co-ordinator at jodi.cowan@ontariotechu.ca by Friday, March 10 at noon.
