CRWC offering free one month access to showers for faculty and staff who bike or walk to work
The summer months are a great time to incorporate active transportation into your commute to work. Try biking or walking to work to improve your health and our environment by reducing air pollution and greenhouse gases.
The Campus Recreation and Wellness Centre (CRWC) is excited to offer Ontario Tech and Durham College faculty/staff a no-charge, one-month membership for those who ride bikes or walk to work during the summer months. It allows for access to the CRWC for showering. It does not provide access to the fitness centre or gymnasiums. It is available for the months of June, July and August and must be renewed each month.
IMPORTANT: Please bring your own towel as the CRWC does not offer towel service. Lockers are for daily use only. Lockers used overnight will have the locks cut and items removed.
Registration instructions for eligible faculty/staff:
- Go to the .
- Log in using your faculty/staff ID/Banner number and campus network password.
- Select ‘Memberships.
- Select ‘Showers Only’ membership and complete the registration. There is no cost for this membership but you must fully register to have access to the facility.
- Your faculty/staff digital card will be required to scan at the CRWC to enter the turnstiles.
