Public lectures by candidates for Dean, Faculty of Business and Information Technology

The Dean Advisory Search Committee has reviewed a high-quality pool of applicants interested in becoming the next Dean of the Faculty of Business and Information Technology at ÃÈÃÃÉçÇø. The Committee has completed a first round of interviews and, as a result, two finalist candidates have been invited to return to campus next week to partake in a participate in a second, more fulsome round of interviews. This will include individual public presentations to members of the university community. Your attendance at these presentations and your subsequent feedback is appreciated. Each presentation session will include:

  • Brief Introduction of the Candidate by the Provost.
  • Candidate presentation.
  • Question-and-answer session (Note: Please submit your questions in advance to provost@ontariotechu.ca).
  • Conclusion and wrap-up.

Following the public presentations, you are invited to provide your feedback on each candidate in writing. To ensure the confidentiality of your feedback, you may communicate directly to Lesley D'Souza, our consulting firm representative from Knightsbridge Robertson Surrette (KBRS). Please share your feedback by Monday, June 12 at 5 p.m.

Tentative presentation schedule:

When:

  • Candidate 1: Monday, June 5 from 2 to 3 p.m.
  • Candidate 2: Tuesday, June 6 from 2 to 3 p.m.

Where:

  • Both presentations will take place in Shawenjigewining Hall, Room 024.
