EFAP provider, LifeWorks, transitioning to TELUS Health in August 2023
TELUS Health recently acquired LifeWorks, the university’s Employee Family Assistance Program (EFAP) provider. The Lifeworks brand will transition to TELUS Health by the end of August 2023.
Moving forward, you’ll notice that the previous EFAP is now referred to as an ‘Employee Assistance Program’ (EAP); however, you and your family will continue to have access to the same services and support related to mental, financial, physical and emotional well-being. The EAP phone number, 1.844.671.3327, as well as the mobile app, web platform, and the usernames and passwords you’ve previously used to log into the Lifeworks EAP, will remain the same for the TELUS Health EAP.
The previous LifeWorks app and platform will be renamed to TELUS Health One to align with the new branding. Phone calls to the new EAP will be answered as ‘TELUS Health’, and services such as video calls will feature the new TELUS Health brand.
