How to access perks and discounts from the Essentials platform
Essentials, an extension of the university’s , offers more than health and wellness resources. Through Essentials Perks, Ontario Tech employees, as well as their family members, can now access exclusive offers, such as discounted admission prices at Ripley’s Aquarium, the Royal Ontario Museum, and Canada’s Wonderland. You can also purchase gift cards from a variety of brands at discounted prices, including Indigo (five per cent off), Roots Canada (eight per cent off), and more.
How to access Essentials
All new full-time and limited-term employees will receive an email invitation with the subject line Join Wellness at Work on LifeWorks / Rejoignez Wellness at Work sur LifeWorks, which includes a unique code to join Essentials and download the Lifeworks app. Current employees would have received their email invitation in March.
