FEAS Professor to speak at Canadian Urban Transit Research & Innovation Consortium

Dr. Hossam Gaber, Professor, Faculty of Engineering and Applied Science, will be among several speakers at the Canadian Urban Transit Research & Innovation Consortium (CUTRIC) happening Wednesday, August 16 to Monday, October 2.

attendees will learn about recently completed transit related research and innovation projects, sponsored by the Government of Ontario’s $10 million fund as part of its Climate Change Strategy. The goal of this partnership with the Ministry of Economic Development, Job Creation and Trade was to help move the province to the forefront of public transit research and development, supporting CUTRIC’s founding mission to spur innovation and economic growth through the creation of low-carbon and smart-mobility ecosystems.
