Community Remembrance Day services - November 10 and 11
On Remembrance Day we honour the courageous individuals who have served Canada and made the ultimate sacrifice to preserve the freedoms we enjoy.
For those who would like to take part in Remembrance Day services, we would like to remind you of the events taking place.
North Oshawa campus location – Friday, November 10
Campus Recreation and Wellness Centre, gyms 3, 4, and 5, from 10:45 to 11:45 a.m. (doors open at 10:20 a.m.), co-organized by the Ontario Tech Student Union and the Durham College Student Association.
Downtown Oshawa – Saturday, November 11
Military parade and service at Memorial Park (outdoors at Simcoe Street South and Metcalfe Street) beginning at 10:30 a.m., hosted by the Royal Canadian Legion and the City of Oshawa. .
Alternatively, you may observe a moment of silence at 11 a.m.
