FEAS and Research and Innovation host international plenary

The and the (VPRI) recently co-hosted the ITEA Smart Delta plenary from October 10 to 12.

is a research cluster on software innovation by , an intergovernmental organization for research and development funding and cooperation.

The event brought together academics and innovators from seven different countries: Finland, Austria, Sweden, Turkey, Germany, Spain and Canada.

Ontario Tech welcomed distinguished guests from various Canadian companies, along with Invest Durham, and the National Research Council of Canada.

ITEA unites a global community of industry partners, startups, academia, and customer organizations. Together, they collaborate on funded projects that transform innovative concepts into new businesses, job opportunities, economic growth, and benefits for society. ITEA's focus spans various domains such as smart mobility, health care, smart cities, energy, manufacturing, engineering, and safety and security.

To celebrate the incredible research being conducted in these fields, FEAS and VPRI also hosted a poster competition, presented by the brilliant Ontario Tech students behind the research, showcasing their dedication and innovation.
