Student Awards and Financial Aid Team support for students
We know every year our students reach out for academic and/or mental health concerns. We also recognize our students may be experiencing difficulty in affording tuition, books or may have food insecurity worries.
The Student Awards and Financial Aid office would like to remind you that we are also here to support students in need and offer the following services:
- One-on-one budget counselling.
- OSAP application reviews for possible appeals to obtain additional funding.
- Bursary and award assessing/nominating.
- Emergency assistance for students with temporary food insecurities.
We recommend students reach out to connect@ontariotechu.ca or call 905.721.3190 to book an appointment with a Financial Aid Officer. However, there can be times where you may be meeting with a student who requires immediate or emergency assistance related to the above. In those cases, please reach out to our office so we can find the best way to give support.
We have a Financial Aid Officer on campus everyday – Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the SIRC building.
