, Associate Professor in the Faculty of Social Science and Humanities, was recently quoted in DeSmog, an online publication that focusses on topics related to climate change.

Dr. Mirrlees was quoted in an article about a new online school created by Canadian psychologist and author Jordan Peterson. Several instructors associated with the school have disputed the existence of climate change.

Dr. Mirrlees expressed concern that Peterson’s virtual school will become what he calls a “Fox News model of education.”
