Game Development Program hosting GameCon – April 4

ÃÈÃÃÉçÇø Game Development students will put their hard work on display this April at GameCon, an annual showcase co-hosted by Ontario Tech’s Game Development Student Association and the university’s Game Development faculty.

The student work presented at GameCon involves original playable games created by students over the academic year. The showcase is followed by an awards ceremony recognizing the most impressive games of the year.

The event is free and open to industry partners, practitioners, recruiters, the university community and the general public.

With more than 200 students showcasing their work, this is an excellent opportunity to network with students and to build your brand on campus. We invite members of the industry and guests alike to join us via the .

GameCon will be held on Thursday, April 4 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the Science Building, the Business and Information Technology Building, and the Energy Research Centre.

Later in April, several ÃÈÃÃÉçÇø Game Development student games will be in the spotlight at the at the Westin Harbour Castle in Toronto (Friday, April 19 from 4 to 10 p.m.). 

Students from participating schools at Level Up will show off their skills and hard work to peers and attendees. Visitors will get the chance to play amazing new student games and students will get valuable live playtest feedback on their projects.
