March is Sustainability Month at Ontario Tech

March is Sustainability Month at Ontario Tech. Want to get involved in sustainability? The Office of Campus Infrastructure and Sustainability will be running sustainability-focused events all month long.

  • Moccasin Identifier Workshop:
    • Indigenous Education and Cultural Services event on Tuesday, March 19 from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. at Polonsky Commons (Shawenjigewining Hall, Room 217 if poor weather)
  • Sustainability Fest:
    • Ontario Tech Sustainability, weCloud, ENACTUS, and Engineering Outreach are collaborating on Wednesday, March 20 from noon to 3 p.m. in the Energy Research Centre Atrium. The Sustainability booth will feature a Repair Café where you can bring in items needing repair to be fixed by our volunteers, as well as e-waste and battery recycling.
  • Climate Symposium: Careers and Connections:
    • Students can connect with various environmental organizations to learn about career paths in sustainability on Wednedsay, March 27 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Business and Information Technology Building Vanhaverbeke Family Atrium.
