Ontario Tech Canada Research Chair a panelist at International Conference on Autonomic Computing and Self-Organizing Systems
Dr. Peter Lewis, Canada Research Chair (CRC) in Trustworthy Artificial Intelligence (AI), was invited to join the Interdisciplinary Expert Panel at the . The topic of the panel was Building Trust in Self* Systems (the asterisk (*) is used to indicate flexibility in the prefix "self." It suggests that the system can apply to a wide range of concepts related to the self). Dr. Lewis, who is also Associate Professor and Associate Dean, Research and Graduate Studies with Ontario Tech’s Faculty of Business and information Technology, shared the platform with Dr. Amanda Muller, Chief of Responsible Technology at Northrop Grumman, and Dr. Jeremy Pitt, Professor of Intelligent and Self-Organizing Systems at Imperial College London.
In addition, Dr. Lewis co-chaired the workshop on Sustainable and Scalable Self-Organization, held alongside the main conference.
