Take Our Kids to Work Day – Wednesday, November 6
Take Our Kids to Work Day is an annual career exploration event, held every November, where Grade 9 students across Canada spend the day exploring the life of a working professional.
Students are hosted by parents, friends or relatives at workplaces across the country. The experiences on this day enhance the student’s understanding of the realities of working life and support them in their own career exploration to make more informed choices. The event also gives parents the opportunity to discuss career prospects with their children, allows our institution to share knowledge, experience and advice around education, career choices, and relevant skills required in today’s workplace.
This year’s Take Our Kids to Work Day at Ontario Tech happens Wednesday, November 6.

This event is open to children in Grade 9 whose parent or guardian is currently an employee of the university.
