Mary-Jo Wheeldon is the owner and Training Director of Rescue Plus, a company she has led since 1990, specializing in safety training programs such as First Aid, CPR/AED, WHMIS, Child Safety, and Injury Prevention. With over three decades of experience in the industry, Mary-Jo has established herself as a prominent figure in safety education and training.

As an Instructor Trainer and licensed provider of Lifesaver 101 First Aid and CPR programs, Mary-Jo is also an accredited instructor for the Heart & Stroke Foundation. Her dedication to injury prevention and safety education led her to create and deliver industry-recognized training programs that address unmet needs. Among these are the Safe Steps Child Safety & Injury Prevention Program and Health and Safety for Youth, both of which have had a significant impact on their respective fields.

Mary-Jo is also a highly respected trainer and speaker for Food Allergy Canada, where she has served as a Trainer and Train-the-Trainer Assistant since 2006. Her commitment to child safety extends to her volunteer work as a Car Seat Safety Instructor Trainer and Co-Chair of the GTA Car Seat Safety Coalition.
